Full time employees of Applied Logistics Services, Inc. are eligible for the following benefits:
Leave / Paid Time Off: New employees (0 – 3 years) earn 17 days of leave or paid time off. Employees with more than 3 years with the Company earn 22 days of leave per year.
Holidays: All employees get the 10 Federally recognized holidays off with pay. These holidays are: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, President's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Health Insurance: The Company pays Group Health Plan premiums for full-time employees up to $660/month. The Company contribution is usually enough to cover the employee and most or all of a comprehensive family plan.
Dental Insurance: The Company pays Dental Plan premiums for full-time employees up to $90/month.
Life Insurance: Applied Logistics Services, Inc. offers a basic company-funded employee term life insurance program.
AFLAC: Applied Logistics Services, Inc offers the Aflac family of insurance products to its employees at the corporate rate. Some Aflac plans are ‘pre-taxed,’ equating to a 30% discount to the employee; and with most, the benefit payments are tax-free. The Aflac coverage provided are any, or all, of the following: Personal Accident Indemnity, Cancer Plan, Hospital Protection, Specified Health Event (Heart Attack), Short Term (6 months) and Long Term (over 6 months) Disability.
Retirement Plan: ALS, Inc. offers all employees participation in a Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees (SIMPLE) Retirement Plan. The Company will match an employee contribution, up to 3% of the employee’s total base salary.
Overtime and Premium Pay: Overtime and Premium Pay compensation is offered if necessary and if approved by the customer.
Educational Reimbursement: ALS, Inc. Employees may be eligible for educational assistance after 90 days of continuous employment, according to ALS policy and pending pre-approval by management.
