Job Responsibilities:

Must be proficient in accomplishing assigned task by utilizing 3D Parametric CAD software (Solid Edge and Creo preferred) to create and maintain 3D models and 2D parametrically linked drafts.  Other support drafting work will utilize AutoCAD.  Must be able to create and modify very complex detail models and drafts from sketches, layouts, notes, or reverse engineering provided by Engineering source and Leads. Must be competent in self-checking prior to submitting for further review.  Ability to follow instruction and achieve goals are critical to meet project deadlines. The MTE incorporates these specifications into drawings and plans that may be used in the manufacture, maintenance or repair of the product or structure.   • Associates degree in any field. Bachelors degree preferred

Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design cable and connector pinouts for various components.

  • Create cable drawings and pinout diagrams to provide to vendors for all cables.

  • Oversee the construction and procurement of electronic systems.

  • Write requirements for vendors to create custom power distribution units.

  • Given a set of requirements, design electrical system for Marine Corps command and control system that will properly connect cable terminations, power supplies, and etc.

  • Design, build, and verify custom chassis to be installed for Marine Corps lab system as well as fleet C2AOS systems.

  • Work as liaison with vendors to ensure product meets timeline and functional requirements.              

Education/Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.  MS in Engineering preferred

  • 4-5 years of Systems Development Engineering

  • Knowledge in controls

  • Knowledge of power distribution and how to balance power in a system

  • Experience in cable and connector design, ensuring signals are properly shielded and assembled correctly.

  • Prefer previous experience with Marine Corps applications.

  • Familiar with fiber optic systems.

  • Familiar with national instruments data acquisition hardware.

  • Desired Software Skills:

    • Microsoft Project

    • AutoCAD or similar 2D drawing software

    • Solid Edge or similar 3d drawing software.

Instructional Systems Developer

Applied Logistics Services has an immediate opening for an Instructional System Developer. The employee will provide a wide range of technical support for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division, Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department, Weapon Systems Training Branch (JXNQ) creating project specific documentation, new equipment training, report generation, administrative support, logistics documentation, training plan updates, and training curriculum / documentation support – with an emphasis on development of Computer Based Training (CBT) products derived through storyboard in 3D animation or video, delivered as a SCORM 2004 compliant CD/DVD.

 

Travel may be required within Continental United States (CONUS) locations

Education/Responsibilities: Primary duty SOF Field Training Team (FTT) trainer for ECM and communications equipment issued to the USSOCOM. Located at NSWC Crane, individual can expect frequent CONUS/OCONUS travel.

NSWC Crane Command Support Services:  Applied Logistics Services is soliciting resumes for a Draftsman/CAD Technician in support of NSWC Crane programs.

Engineering Draftsman/CAD Technician: 

 

ALS is soliciting resumes for a senior engineering draftsman/CAD technician. Ideal candidate will have SolidWorks and SolidWorks Electrical Schematic/2D-3D experience.
