Metrology Technicians (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic) - ALS201422

Multiple positions located in Crane, Indiana at NSWC Crane. 

Responsibilities: These Calibration Technician positions require skills necessary for the calibration of weights, weight scales, temperature, humidity, vacuum gauges, pressure gauges, force and other associated equipment. Calibrations will be made per standards set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). 

Specific Duties: These positions fill Service Contract Act (SCA) occupations 23590, 23591, 23592, and 23593. Specific occupation descriptions can be found on the web by searching "SCA Directory of Occupations" and viewing the DOL site posting of that document.

Requirements: The successful applicant must be a United States citizen, be able to obtain a Security Clearance, and have at least one year of Cal Lab related experience. The ideal candidate will have completed METCAL training certification and/or ISO/IEC 17025 & ANSI Z540.3 accreditation.
